Objects As History (Week 2)

Burials during Stone Age
It is very interesting that humans are practicing burial rituals since the stone age. The hominid also knew the consequences of not disposing of the body in a proper manner. According to history, they buried the bodies because they believed in life after death, but there could be a possibility that the surrounding people suffered from infection because of these dead peoples, but chopping off the legs is something that can be a questionable thing in this case, that why did they cut the legs of the dead person. Another shady thing is why they believed in life after death, did they feel the presence of any spiritual beings, it could be a possibility that they misunderstood the natural calamities with spiritual attacks and there is a possibility that there could be some suspicious activities.
